Oh jeez, has it really been a whole month since I last posted a comic? I’m so sorry everyone. I’m so not used to being THIS busy all the time. I’ll try to do better, but it’s looking like I won’t be able to even try to get back onto a semi-regular schedule until after mid-August or so. Here’s hoping you’ll all be too busy with super fun vacations to notice!

When I drew this comic, it was actually in the middle of monsoon season, where the skies were horribly depressing whether there was rain or not. While the skies may be a little more blue for now, I strongly feel that the misery brought on by the weather is still quite relateable. I always thought I could handle any sort of heat and humidity after having lived in Texas for most of my life, but I was dead wrong. Korean summers seem to kick my butt more and more every year, and it’s making me seriously regret bringing so many pairs of jeans instead of shorts and other summer friendly clothes. Maybe I’m just a wuss who loves air conditioning a little too much.

Speaking of which, I hear that some schools are notorious for being quite conservative with their air conditioner usage. Some people have told me that they won’t bother turning it on until someone passes out from heat exhaustion. To everyone that is suffering from similar situations, you have my greatest sympathy. I feel miserable at my job even with the cold air running (I sit right next to a sunny window), so I can only imagine what kind of hell it would be to sit there in my own pool of sweat and tears. As horrible as the heat is, it really is the humidity that makes it so much worse.

With that being said, does anyone have any sort of tips for beating the heat and/or humidity? Feel free to share, as my apartment could definitely afford to feel less disgusting.
