For anyone who can’t read Korean…

엄마 = Mom/Mother (informal)
뭐 = What
땡큐 = Thank You (in Konglish)

I’m sure this particular strip is one anyone who has a technologically confused parent can relate to. While my mother speaks decent English, she does tend to get a little flustered when it comes to technical terms and setting things up. It’s one of the reasons why I wish I was home, as I would usually be the one to help in such situations. You’d be surprised at how difficult it is to help someone configure an mp3 player over webcam.

I know Mother’s Day in Korea has passed, but a lot of our mothers are still back at home and probably missing us. This is for you fine ladies.

Also, don’t take it too offensively if it looks like I’m teasing my mom. Trust me, she can dish it out with the best of them.
